Rill & River began with a simple frustration: most outdoor-inspired clothing is designed by people who never go outside. The graphics feel generic. The colours feel borrowed. Nothing carries the feeling of actually being out there.
So we started drawing the places we love — ridgelines at first light, treelines in fog, the quiet after a long walk — and putting them on clothes we'd genuinely wear. Each design is made only once someone orders it, which means no warehouse full of unsold stock and nothing heading to landfill.
We're a small operation. That's the point.
